About Phoenix
We have extensive experience working in remote and significantly eco-sensitive and culturally sensitive areas such as Raine Island and National Parks located in the Daintree, Mt Windsor & Mt Lewis regions. As a result we have a deep understanding, interest and appreciation of environmental matters and cultural sensitivities.
Our work in remote and isolated locations has resulted in the establishment of proven processes and procedures for managing the logistics and delivery of complex projects. This is demonstrated in case studies for our previous projects.

Stewart Cowe
Managing Director
With over 20 year experience in the civil earthworks industry, Stewart holds multiple machinery operator licences as well as a Certificate III Arboriculture. He is also a qualified mechanic.
Stewart personally oversees all Phoenix projects and covers the following responsibilities:
- Preparation of tenders documents
- Quoting
- Recruitment, training and inductions
- Procurement
- Project Management
- Operation Management
For more than 8 years, Stewart worked in the tree clearing industry, traveling extensively to regional areas between Far North Queensland and Cape York. He has employed and supervised teams of up to ten workers prior to forming his own Civil Company in 2017.
Stewart has also been engaged in a number of projects involving strict Biosecurity measures which has now become of particular interest.
Stewart is responsible for the necessary day to day paperwork and reporting and has a fundamental understanding of a comprehensive range of compliance and legislation requirements.
